We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team at our Tarmac Dolyhir/Strinds Quarry in Presteigne, Herefordshire. The successful candidate will work as part of the Multi-Skilled Operational team, producing dry aggregates material for the construction industry.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within an industrial or factory environment as an operative or labourer. Key responsibilities include:

  • Housekeeping duties on site
  • Driving a loading shovel
  • Day-to-day maintenance, maintaining the highest levels of housekeeping
  • Maintenance and driving a culture of zero harm and behavioural safety
  • Training and operation on static plant operations to help drive plant optimisation
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience working within an industrial or factory environment
  • Familiarity with risk assessments
  • Ability to work as part of an effective multi-skilled operative team
  • Compliance with company policies, targets, goals, and standards
