Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacist to join our team at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) team, ensuring that all pharmaceutical products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be working closely with the Head of Quality Services to develop and implement quality policies and procedures, as well as conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including the development of new pharmaceutical products, the optimization of existing processes, and the implementation of new technologies. You will also be responsible for managing a team of scientific and technical staff, providing training and guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in pharmaceutical science, a Master's degree in Pharmacy, and significant experience in QA/QC roles. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
