Multi-Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Trader to join our team at Clarity Recruiting Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of trades, including basic plumbing, carpentry, electrics, painting, and fencing.
Key Responsibilities- Plumbing: Perform basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, installing and repairing taps, sinks, and toilets, and unblocking drains.
- Floor Laying: Lay all different types of flooring, including Lino, Laminate, and wood flooring.
- Carpentry: Undertake carpentry jobs including fitting doors, skirting boards, building shelves, assembling furniture, and minor repairs.
- Electrics: Carry out basic electrical tasks such as changing sockets, installing light fittings, and conducting minor electrical repairs (within regulatory limits).
- Painting & Decorating: Perform interior and exterior painting and decorating tasks including preparing surfaces, painting walls, and touching up damaged areas.
- Fencing: Install, repair, and maintain garden fences, gates, and similar outdoor structures.
- Diagnose, Troubleshoot, and Resolve Issues: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in various trades, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
- Liaise with Other Tradespeople: Liaise with other tradespeople and contractors where necessary to complete larger projects.
- Tool Maintenance: Manage and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Quality and Efficiency: Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, within the agreed time frames, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as plumbing, carpentry, electrics, painting, and fencing.
- Basic knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices across trades.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple trades.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driving license and the ability to travel to different job sites as required.
