In this Industrial Automation Systems Developer role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that meet our business needs.

About the Role:
  • You will work closely with our operational teams to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • You will design and develop automation systems using a range of tools and technologies, including PLCs, sensors, and software.
  • You will test and commission new automation systems to ensure they are operating correctly.
  • You will be paid a competitive salary starting at £17,782 per annum, plus bonuses and other benefits.
Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing automation systems that meet our business needs.
  • Implementing and testing new automation systems to ensure they are operating correctly.
  • Working collaboratively with our operational teams to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your technical knowledge and skills.
  • Contributing to a healthy and safe working environment by working to our approved codes of practice.
Requirements:
  • Ideally, 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) – but for the right person, this isn't essential.
  • An ambitious mindset.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • The willingness to learn and develop.
  • A keen interest in engineering and how things work.
  • A full UK driving license – but if you do not have one, we can support you financially in achieving this.
