Warehouse Operative Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer inbound and outbound bookings using third-party software and a courier network to maintain high shipping standards.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
  • Accurately receive inbound deliveries and locate stock.
  • Communicate changes and delays to relevant departments.
  • Monitor outbound shipments and communicate delays.
  • Build relationships with preferred carriers and freight forwarders.
  • Produce accurate commercial paperwork.
  • Drive company vans for occasional deliveries and daily stock collection.
  • Administer consignment route planning to ensure cost-effective methods.
Requirements:
  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
  • Valid Electric Pallet Stacker licence preferred.
  • Full clean UK driving licence, held for a minimum of years to meet insurance requirements.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to assist other departments.
  • Self-sufficiency in managing deliveries.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of picking and packing customer orders.
  • Experience delivering goods to customers.

Location and Hours:

Usual working location is at our office in Kemble, Gloucestershire. We have a flexible Hybrid Working policy, enabling a mix of office and home working.

Our working hours are Monday-Thursday and Friday.
