We're currently working on a complex, 10 to 15 year, multi-billion pound programme to redevelop a science campus in the London/South East area.

As a Senior NEC 4 Supervisor, you'll be responsible for developing a full understanding of the works information, monitoring site activity, and maintaining accurate records of daily site activities. You'll also be responsible for obtaining, reviewing, and monitoring compliance with quality procedures, including inspection and test plans, as-built records, and test results.

You'll need to have a relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification, relevant construction experience, and a good understanding of construction methods. You'll also need to be able to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and be committed to delivering to agreed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a full understanding of the works information and access the project common data environment to obtain construction details and other information necessary to perform the role.
  • Monitor site activity through regular site visits and inspections to confirm work is carried out in accordance with the works information.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, conditions, and resources.
  • Complete a detailed weekly site report, coordinating input from other team members as required.
  • Obtain, review, and monitor compliance with quality procedures, including inspection and test plans, as-built records, and test results.
  • Identify, record, and notify defects using our defects management tool, Fieldview.
  • Manage the samples and benchmarks process, including review and approval of samples and benchmarks, maintaining an accurate log of sample and benchmark status, coordinating input from technical advisors and stakeholders.
  • Witness testing and commissioning activity.
  • Coordinate technical advisor input into site inspections, sample and benchmark reviews, and defect resolution.

Requirements:

  • A relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant construction experience and a good understanding of construction methods.
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and be committed to delivering to agreed quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively within a large project team, including technical advisors and construction managers, and be confident in the use of digital systems to access project information and record defects.
  • A good working knowledge of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) would be beneficial but not essential.
  • NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
