Job Title: Digital Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Engineering Leader to join our team. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented engineers and driving the development of our innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of skilled engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and execute the team's roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Oversee project objectives to enhance and support the overall product strategy.
  • Play a central role in managing, coaching, and fostering the growth of your engineering team.
  • Guide and mentor team members to ensure they deliver exceptional results by promoting best practices and addressing technical challenges on projects requiring advanced technical expertise.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Python, Java, or other high-level programming languages, 2 years of which must be in Python.
  • Minimum of 6 years of backend development and databases experience.
  • Proven record of developing and scaling products that are highly available, distributed, and large scale.
  • Clear communication (written and verbal) is crucial to our success. You should be able to formulate your ideas concisely, and communicate complex information succinctly.
  • Ability to drive work forward independently in a cross-functional, geographically distributed team environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms.
