Job Title: Traffic Management Operative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traffic Management Operative to join our Alba Traffic Management team based in Inverness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management equipment on high and low-speed roads, ensuring compliance with company policies and national highways sector schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management equipment, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and traffic lights.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient and safe traffic management operations.
  • Contribute to the company's zero-harm culture by adhering to health, safety, and environmental management standards.
  • Work flexible shifts, including evenings, night shifts, and weekends, with occasional overtime and on-call requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working on highways, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Lantra-approved 12D or 12 A/B qualifications are desirable, with training and development provided for candidates with the necessary skills and aptitude.
  • Full UK clean driver's license is essential, with an HGV license being an advantage.
