We are seeking an experienced Care Team Lead to support our team of Support Workers, based in Scorton, North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing 24-hour care and support that enhances the quality of life for our service users.

  • Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Care Team Lead to join our team, working closely with Support Workers to deliver high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide leadership and guidance to the Support Worker team, ensuring seamless delivery of care and support services.
  • To work collaboratively with the management team to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of our service users.
  • To participate in on-call duties, sleep-ins, and flexible hours as required by the service.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in health and social care (NVQ 3 or equivalent).
  • At least two years' experience working with vulnerable adults, including experience in developing personal care plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Ability to work independently, with initiative, and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of key worker systems and principles.
  • Ability to provide personal care and support services as required.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
