Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Highways, Transport & Planning Service as a Technician. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our highways capital works programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services to customers.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of highway maintenance and improvement projects.
- Support the development of sustainable communities in West Sussex by contributing to the delivery of our annual programme of highways capital works.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the public, to ensure that their needs are met and that they are informed about project progress.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a related field, such as transportation engineering or infrastructure maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
