About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Hairdresser to join our team at Yarl\u2019s Wood Immigration and Removal Centre. As a Hairdresser, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality hairdressing service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a hairdressing service to residents, working closely with the regimes team to ensure an appropriate service is provided.
- Maintain an effective appointment system, offering a range of services to meet the needs of residents.
- Treat all residents with dignity and respect, regardless of age, ethnic group, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or language.
- Report any concerns or issues to your manager, contributing to the achievement of good communication within Yarl\u2019s Wood IRC.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing and Level 2 Cutting Men\u2019s Hair qualification.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with knowledge of both Caucasian and Afro-Caribbean and Asian hair and up-to-date styles.
