Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Michael Page (UK).
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of maintenance activities, including defining maintenance plans, fault finding, and implementing improvement projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and maintainability of production lines and equipment, and for providing technical support to the production team.
Key Responsibilities- Defining Maintenance Plans: Develop and implement maintenance plans for new and existing production lines and facilities to ensure optimal reliability and maintainability.
- Fault Finding and Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues on equipment across the plant to achieve maximum performance from production lines.
- Improvement Projects: Propose and implement improvement projects to optimize machine operation and usability, with a focus on energy efficiency.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Complete and implement TPM, PPM, and routine maintenance schedules for machines across the site.
- Time Served/Qualification: Beneficial to have a time served or qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
- CMMS Experience: Extensive knowledge of maintenance activities with the use of CMMS systems.
- Data Analysis: Experience in data analysis through CMMS systems to focus activities for greater results.
- Mechanical Drawings: Ability to read mechanical drawings to support manufacturing and machine improvements.
- Manufacturing Background: Manufacturing background, ideally within conduit production machinery including CNC.
- Machining Experience: Machining experience in a maintenance setting using tooling such as Lathes, Milling, grinding, drilling, welding, etc.
- Competitive Salary: £42,000
- Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 12pm - 6pm
