Advanced Nurse Practitioner Role

MCG Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Emergency Contact Practitioner to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the leadership and practice teams in a large healthcare group.
The successful candidate will be involved in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, proactively engaged in assisting both practices to achieve their vision and objectives. They will be part of a practice of 5 Partners and 7 salaried GPs serving 28,000 patients within a lovely mix of market town and village communities.
The practice is part of a larger Partnership with 170,000 patients over 8 sites. The Stamford-based Surgeries are a beautiful Georgian town, idyllic enough to have formed the backdrop for many television and films. It is regularly a finalist in the Sunday Times best places to live in Britain survey.
Key Responsibilities:- Working autonomously in an independent and advanced nursing role
- Experience of providing emergency care for patients and management of patients with complex needs
- Evidence of wide knowledge base and competency in clinical practice including prescribing
- Experience in audit programs and research studies
- Evidence of service development initiatives within role portfolio
- Experience of Clinical Governance and risk assessment/management processes
- Educated to Masters Level or working towards
- Independent Prescribing Qualification - or working towards
- Must have experience of working autonomously in an independent and advanced nursing role
- Must have experience of providing emergency care for patients and management of patients with complex needs
- Must have evidence of wide knowledge base and competency in clinical practice including prescribing
- Must have experience in audit programs and research studies
- Must have evidence of service development initiatives within role portfolio
- Must have experience of Clinical Governance and risk assessment/management processes
- Must be educated to Masters Level or working towards
- Must have Independent Prescribing Qualification - or working towards
