Our client, a leading manufacturer of complex assemblies and bespoke components, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join their team in Leeds.


About the Role


We are looking for a skilled engineer with experience programming, setting, and operating Milling machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming unaided from engineering drawings, carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe workplace.


Key Responsibilities



  • Programming Milling machines using Siemens and Prototrak controls
  • Carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace

Requirements



  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Turner Programmer
  • 2, 3-axis programming experience
  • Fully conversant using Siemens and Prototrak controls
  • Be fully competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Responsible for quality
  • Enthusiasm to produce the best possible quality
  • Experience working with tight tolerances and deadlines
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills
