We are seeking a professional and adaptable Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team in Enfield. This ongoing locum position offers a flexible schedule of 5 days per week, with the possibility of reducing to 4 days if needed. The successful candidate will need to be flexible with shift patterns, covering early shifts from 07:40 to 16:00 and late shifts from 12:10 to 20:30. No weekend shifts are required, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care, including monitoring, treatments, and assisting with medical and surgical procedures.
  • Ensure the well-being of all patients, maintaining clean and comfortable accommodations.
  • Assist in diagnostic procedures, including preparation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the veterinarian and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and support on the health and care of their pets.
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure a high standard of care and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with current registration, or eligible for registration, with the RCVS.
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in a veterinary practice.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts within the stated hours.
