Industrial Placement Student

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented undergraduate student to join our team as an Industrial Placement Student in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK). This 12-month placement will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical research environment and contribute to exciting R&D projects.
About the RoleAs an Industrial Placement Student, you will work closely with our experienced scientists to plan and carry out experiments to support in vitro and/or in vivo studies. You will have the opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience in various systems, including LC-MS and automated platforms. You will also be responsible for understanding, interpreting, and reporting results, which will be used to design future compounds to optimize their DMPK profile.

Requirements- Studying towards an undergraduate degree in a Chemistry, Biology, or Pharmacology-related discipline.
- Predicted 1st or 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Conscientious.
- Well-organized and confident to work independently.
