Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/Porter to join our team at Elior. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef(s) in preparing and serving food to our customers, ensuring that all dishes are presented to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate the till point, handling customer transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Support the team in achieving our customer service goals, providing a warm and welcoming experience for our customers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in food preparation, customer service, and kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the catering or hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
