Job Responsibilities

As a Maintenance and Operations Professional at Biogas Community, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining sites/equipment ensuring safe and reliable operation
  • Supporting contractors on site to deliver interventions safely with the use of permits and LOTO procedures
  • Applying regulatory safety rules to all responsible sites
  • Alerting and raising awareness of unsafe situations
  • Supporting root cause analysis of safety incidents
  • Reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement) reviews
  • Managing and coordinating site emergency procedures (including Waste paperwork & COSHH documentation)
  • Writing and checking Standard Operating Procedures for Works & reviewing Risk Assessment & Method Statement creation

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience in writing technical reports and procedures. They should also be able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
