Children's Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our residential service for children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation of our 4-bed residential home in Tiptree, Essex. As a Children's Home Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring the provision of therapeutic care and support, and maintaining a safe and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the staff team within the service
- Ensure the staff and young people receive ongoing support and guidance
- Develop and implement strategies to promote therapeutic care and support
- Ensure the service meets Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage staffing and recruitment, including training and development
Requirements:
- NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services
- Experience working within a Deputy or Children's Home Registered Manager's position
- Experience in a residential children's home environment

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is up to £55k basic plus bonus. We also offer a range of benefits, including a bonus scheme, full-time hours, and a permanent contract.
Location:
The role is based in Tiptree, Essex, with easy access to amenities and activities in Colchester and Chelmsford.
