Astronautical Engineering Support Technologist Position Available

We are seeking an experienced technical machinist to support our astronautical engineering team. As a key member of our prototyping facility, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of aerospace manufacturing.

Our state-of-the-art machinery includes CNC mills, 3D printing technologies, and manual equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong machining skills, with experience in CAD design, SolidCAM programming, and precision assembly. Familiarity with Haas milling machines and Solidworks software is a plus.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, flexibility, and adaptability. You must be comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. Your ability to problem-solve, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks will be essential in driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machining and fabrication of parts using CNC mills, manual equipment, and 3D printing technologies
  • CAD design and SolidCAM programming for test rig and mould tool production
  • Precision assembly and machine building for various projects
  • Integration of pneumatics/electropneumatics systems for automation purposes

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated annual salary: $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
