Our prestigious private hospital client in Central London offers a unique opportunity for a skilled oncology pharmacist to join their multidisciplinary team.

Role Overview:

\

This is a Band 7 position, requiring a highly experienced oncology pharmacist who can provide expert pharmaceutical care to patients undergoing haematology oncology treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Dispensing and verifying chemotherapy and oncology medications.\
  • Releasing SACT for administration, including oral and IV chemotherapy medications.\
  • Providing patient counselling on SACT and supportive medications.\
  • Reviewing medication regimens and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols.\
  • Monitoring patient responses to treatments and advising on medication adjustments.\

Requirements:

\
  • \
  • Haematology oncology pharmacist with at least 2 years' experience.\
  • Good clinical knowledge in haematology-oncology speciality.\
  • Experience verifying oral and IV SACT (chemotherapy) medications, releasing SACT for administration, and providing patient counselling.\
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.\
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.\
  • GPhC registered pharmacist.\

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is up to £33 per hour, paid weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your preference.
