Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Care Professional to join our team at Deans House, a residential care home for adults with a Learning Disability in Livingston. The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of a stimulating individualised service and environment in line with West Lothian Council and Care Inspectorate guidance, policy & procedure, as well as National Strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support residents to access a range of community meaningful activities meeting individual outcomes and personal goals.
  • Work towards moving on to a smaller care setting, individual tenancy.
  • Support residents to maintain an independent living approach.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with Adults with a Learning Disability, especially in care planning.
  • Hold a minimum of HNC Social Care & SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people both verbally, in writing and using alternative types of communication methods.
