Job Title: Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist

Neuro Rehab Times is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit in London. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our rehabilitation programs.

About the Role:
  • Deputise for the Lead Occupational Therapist and provide leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Assist in the diagnosis, problem formulation, and planning of rehabilitation programs.
  • Function as a Key Worker/Named Therapist to ensure active coordination and management of the therapeutic program.
  • Prescribe and provide equipment for patients during their rehabilitation journey.
  • Maintain accurate records and clinical notes in line with company policy and RCOT guidelines.
  • Develop and deliver in-service education and training programs for the multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise junior members of staff, including Band 6 therapists, assistants, and students.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration
  • RCOT registration
  • Previous experience in a neurorehabilitation setting
  • Ability to motivate patients over long periods
  • Supervision experience
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
