Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time Veterinary Receptionist position at our Dumfries practice. You will be the first point of contact for clients and the public, demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression. The successful candidate will work 42.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with a rotational Saturday in Dumfries.

The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We are committed to providing a competitive package that includes enhanced family-friendly policies, including maternity/paternity/adoption/shared parental and surrogacy pay.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for clients and the public.
• Check and update vaccine/contact details, record information on the Practice system.
• Secure follow-up appointments, promote promotional schemes, and keep the reception area clean and tidy.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.
