RF Wireless Test Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled RF Wireless Test Engineer to join our team in Fareham. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing RF testing on a wide range of IoT wireless technologies, including WLAN 802.11, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Cellular (GSM / W-CDMA / LTE / 5G NR), SRD 433/868MHz, and VHF.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct RF testing on wireless products to various test standards (ETSI and FCC) in our wireless test labs and at customer premises in the UK and overseas.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable regulatory requirements or defined test plans supplied by the customer.
  • Accurately record test results using electronic logbook systems and produce test reports, following company quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with customers during attended testing.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure work is completed accurately and within allocated timescales.
  • Develop test methods and other departmental documentation.
Requirements:
  • Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum/network analysers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and RF power meters.
  • Good understanding of wireless communication principles and protocols.
