The Role

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to current health and food legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean designated areas, including sweeping and mopping of floors, and ensuring all surfaces are hygienically cleaned.
  • Clean and maintain fridges, shelving, food preparation areas, cupboards, and trolleys.
  • Prepare the dishwasher for daily use and report any faults or chemical requisitions required.
  • Ensure all dirty crockery and cutlery are cleared, washed, and stacked correctly.
  • Adhere to all legislative requirements, including those concerning food hygiene and health and safety at work.

Requirements

  • A passion for delivering quality food using fresh ingredients to specification.
  • High volume experience providing quality food consistently in a fast-paced environment.
