We are seeking a highly experienced Signalling Design Manager to lead our team in delivering railway-signalling schemes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in signalling design, with the ability to manage and direct a team of engineers.

Our client is currently seeking a Signalling Design Manager to work within the Signalling Design team, delivering a portfolio of exciting, varied rail projects both in the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing the signalling design team in all aspects of delivering railway-signalling schemes in accordance with company standards, signalling principles, and practice. This includes determining the signalling design requirements from the client brief, implementing the design scope, and ensuring that the design team understands the project requirements.
Determining the design methodology for projects and sign off outline and design specifications.
Providing excellent engineering skills and technical knowledge of railway signalling, within an environment of high quality and timeliness.
Acting as Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) for projects.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of signalling design principles, standards, components, and fabrication methods. Experience of signalling construction methods and installation is also essential. In addition, the successful candidate will have a good knowledge of other rail disciplines, and how their work interfaces with signalling engineering.
Extensive experience of working on multidisciplinary railway projects is required, with the ability to manage and control staff appointed to project(s) and work packages being produced under your control.
A salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this position.
