We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Surveyor to join our growing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing valuation advice and lease advisory services to our clients, including corporate occupiers, property companies, institutional investors, retailers, and local authorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reading and summarizing leases
  • Inspecting and measuring properties
  • Collating evidence and compiling pre-negotiation reports for advisory work
  • Negotiating rent reviews, lease renewals, surrenders, and re-gears on behalf of landlords and tenants
  • Preparing reports for 3rd party referrals
  • Preparing heads of terms for lease renewals
  • Ongoing monitoring and progressing of tasks through liaison with instructed solicitors
  • Assisting senior colleagues as necessary
  • Developing and maintaining a strong base of internal and external contacts

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a lease advisory department
  • MRICS qualification preferable
  • Good understanding of landlord and tenant legislation
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of tasks and instructions
  • Results-driven and highly proactive
  • Good degree of analytical skills ability
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Full, clean driving license essential
