Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Greenslades Nursing Home. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality housekeeping services, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a dementia residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of infection control and health and safety procedures.
  • NVQ / QCF Level 2 qualified in Catering and in Housekeeping or equivalent.
