Job Summary: Tradewind is seeking a skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a child with Cerebral Palsy in a Year 5 class at a Good Primary School in the Wigan area.

About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-to-one support to a child with specific needs, work collaboratively with the class teacher to address gaps in learning, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. This is a long-term full-time placement, five days a week, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Salary and Benefits: The daily rate for this position starts at £83.33, depending on your experience. You will also receive a comprehensive range of benefits, including top rates of pay, professional development opportunities, a referral bonus, and networking events.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need knowledge and understanding of working with children in Key Stage 2 and managing challenging behaviors. You must also possess a strong commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of students with special needs. Additionally, you should have a clean Enhanced DBS Disclosure and be able to provide professional references. Your CV should cover the last ten years of employment history, and any employment breaks should be explained.
