Temporary Accounting Assistant Wanted

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Temporary Accounting Assistant to join our team in Romford.

Job Duties:

  1. Deliver accurate and timely customer statements
  2. Conduct regular banking reconciliations in multiple currencies
  3. Process and manage a significant volume of purchase invoices monthly
  4. Transform sales orders into invoices after goods delivery
  5. Issue credit notes for sales transactions
  6. Develop and maintain credit control systems and limit settings
  7. Organize payment runs on a regular basis
  8. Manage company credit cards and process employee expenses
  9. Verify and review supplier statements
  10. Daily record bank receipts and payments
  11. Monitor various email inboxes
  12. Produce account reports as needed

To be successful in this role, applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in an accounting position. While an AAT or equivalent certification is highly valued, it's not a requirement. Effective communication skills are necessary for working collaboratively with colleagues and handling tasks independently.

Compensation: £14.30-£16 per hour, paid on a weekly basis

Working Hours: Full-time office hours: Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm; Friday, 9am to 3:45pm. Each working day includes a 45-minute lunch break, and there's free parking available on site.
