About the Job
We are currently seeking a skilled Steel Detailer to join our client's team in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. As a Steel Detailer, you will be responsible for creating detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel components using industry-standard software such as Procore.

Key Tasks:
  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D steel fabrication drawings and models using AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar software.
  • Interpret architectural and structural engineering drawings to develop accurate and precise detailing.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure the drawings meet project specifications.
  • Review and verify design plans, ensuring all components meet the required building codes and industry standards.
  • Communicate with clients and contractors to resolve design-related issues and provide technical support during the fabrication and installation phases.
  • Maintain and manage drawing files, ensuring all revisions and updates are accurately documented.

Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Steel Detailer within the construction industry or related field.
  • Proficiency in using steel detailing software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, ProCore or similar.
  • A strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, construction practices, and building regulations.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and develop.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £27,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standard.
