Head of Commercial Operations

Newmedica is a leading provider of NHS funded and private Ophthalmology services in the UK, with a strong focus on delivering personal patient care. We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our Joint Venture Partnership, who shares our commitment to excellence and is passionate about driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring clinical safety and excellent care.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Clinical Joint Venture Partners to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of quality, performance, and world-class service.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain a strong understanding of the new framework.
- Develop and manage budgets, with a focus on commercial acumen and financial management.
About You:
- Proven experience in a senior operations or management role, with a strong track record of driving business growth.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience of managing P&L and budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and the new framework.
