Job Description
We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to work with key stages 3 and 4 students in a secondary school in Formby. This will be a long-term, full-time position.
Your Responsibilities
As a teaching assistant, your duties will include:
- Supporting the class teacher with lesson planning and delivery
- Working one-to-one and in groups with students who require additional support
- Assisting with classroom activities and managing student behavior
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 1+ years of experience working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school
- Experience working with pupils/children with special educational needs
- Ability to support with maths and English
- Knowledge of safeguarding
- Full-time availability
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position will be approximately £28,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to our refer-a-friend scheme and holiday pay accrual.
