About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Fundraising Coordinator for SSAFA-1. As a Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our local branch in developing and implementing a fundraising plan to raise vital funds for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet the needs of our local branch.
  • Work closely with the branch secretary and Regional Fundraising Manager to recruit and manage a team of fundraising volunteers.
  • Support national fundraising campaigns and work with the Regional Fundraising Manager to identify and pursue opportunities beyond local sources.
  • Plan and run local appeals, collections, and events to raise funds for our clients.
  • Evaluate fundraising activities and provide reports and information for the branch.
  • Be a positive ambassador for SSAFA-1 and promote our services to the local community.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of running events and submitting funding applications would be an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and keep information safely.
  • Access to public transport or a car to get to meetings and events.
