Aerospace Technical Author Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Author to join our team at 365 Resourcing, supporting Yamazaki Mazak, a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written English skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including operating manuals, maintenance manuals, and detail specifications
  • Work closely with the European Engineering Team to ensure documentation meets their requirements
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Meet project deadlines and work under pressure when necessary

Requirements:

  • Good engineering background, preferably in machine tool experience
  • Technical writing experience in an engineering environment
  • Familiarity with CAD systems, such as CATIA Composer or CREO Illustrate
  • Basic knowledge of French and German languages
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Working Hours: 08:15am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime paid at time and a half after two hours
