Band 6 SMS Clinical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Primary Care and SMS Senior Nurse to join our team in Exeter. As a Band 6 Senior Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with complex needs, including substance misuse and associated health challenges. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored care plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions to address addiction management, harm reduction, and physical health issues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure seamless care and support
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse
- Strong understanding of substance misuse and related health challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range: £27-£30 per hour
- Flexible scheduling Monday-Sunday, 07:30pm-21:00pm
