Customer Relations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to join our team at our Dungannon site, where they will play a key role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves working closely with our customer-facing teams to develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer engagement, including technical queries, product specifications, and quality attribute sheets.
- Act as a primary point of contact between customers and internal departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Manage raw material and product specifications, as well as Quality Attribute Sheets, to ensure compliance with customer brand standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with commercial and NPD contacts to drive customer account development and expand our market presence.
- Monitor and report on relevant technical KPIs to inform business decisions and optimize customer experiences.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of customer requirements, including technical specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer queries and issues promptly and effectively.
- Managing and communicating technical information to stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a related customer-facing technical role within the food industry.
- A recognized qualification in food science, technology, or a related discipline (HND or higher).
- A clean driving license and willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland for customer meetings and other business-related activities.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the red meat supply chain, quality assurance, and UK retailer industry.
We offer a competitive salary package, which includes:
- An estimated annual salary of £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.
