The Role

You will supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, working together to create a happy and caring atmosphere for our residents. Your attention to detail and passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness will be essential in ensuring our home is a warm and welcoming environment for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the home is kept clean and safe at all times
  • Supervise and manage staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  • Work with the care team to create a happy and caring atmosphere for residents
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, with attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Collaborate with the care team to identify and address any issues or concerns

Requirements

  • A compassionate and caring nature
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • A good attention to detail and desire to ensure standards are the highest possible
  • Good understanding of health and safety as well as infection control and COSHH procedures
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to working hours
