About the Role:
">Reed- UNLIMITED seeks a skilled Veterinary Pathologist Assistant to support the post-mortem examination of large animals and poultry. This dynamic role will involve sampling, humane euthanasia of livestock, and assisting with tissue location/sampling as per experimental protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support ante and post-mortem examination of large animals and poultry
- Sampling, humane euthanasia of livestock using appropriate methods
- Assist with tissue location/sampling as required by experimental protocols
- Safe transfer and submission of samples from the post-mortem room to laboratory facilities following Good Laboratory Practices
Requirements:
">You should have experience in working in a scientific environment, dissection/anatomy skills, good communication, team player, motivated, able to use common software applications, and a BTEC HNC/BSc degree or equivalent technical qualifications in biological/biomedical/bioveterinary science.
