About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team at Westward Care. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and developing a team of care professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of care staff, ensuring that high standards of care and support are maintained at all times.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote excellence in care and support.
  • Work closely with the Care Home Manager to ensure that the home is run efficiently and effectively.
  • Represent the organization at a local level, building relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a care management role, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on resident-centered care.
