Senior Bridge Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, management, and construction of roads network structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and oversee all structures-related inspections and monitoring activities, ensuring timely and quality completion of reports.
  2. Deliver high-quality audit, monitoring, and reports related to road network structures, providing expert advice on critical issues.
  3. Collaborate with the Consultant's team and other service delivery members to ensure seamless coordination and effective project delivery.
  4. Participate in technical workshops for large schemes, review draft tender documents, and provide critical feedback.
  5. Audit and review OC performance concerning the Employer's Risk Register, mitigating risks effectively.
Requirements:
  1. Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer or equivalent qualification.
  2. Extensive experience in the maintenance, management, and construction of roads network structures.
  3. Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge of industry practices and design codes.
  4. Proven ability to deliver high-quality audit, monitoring, and reports related to road network structures.
  5. Strong coordination skills and expertise in providing strategic advice and planning audit strategies for road structures.
