Assistant Food and Beverage Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chester - Valor Hospitality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability.
  • Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs, labor costs, and operating supply costs.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to review progress and achieve business plan goals.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu engineering and inventory management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
