Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Legislative Affairs Manager to join our team at Bryn Mawr College. This is a remote, hybrid position that requires full-time, exempt work. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective legislative affairs strategy for our organization, monitoring local, state, and federal legislation and regulations, and advising executive leadership accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive legislative affairs strategy to advance our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze local, state, and federal legislation and regulations that impact our organization.
  • Provide strategic advice to executive leadership on legislative and regulatory matters.
  • Serve as the agency's liaison with elected officials and their staff to support constituent and agency needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including public offices, government agencies, and community leadership entities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, government relations, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in legislative affairs, government relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex legislative and regulatory issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
