Job Title: Financial Services Regulatory Associate

Nomura Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Regulatory Associate to join our team in London.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, embedding, and evolving a Front Office Supervision framework that meets minimum regulatory requirements. This will involve owning key tools, such as reporting, attestation processes, hierarchy, meetings, and key governance, as well as maintaining relevant Policies, Handbooks, and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Supervision framework that ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Own and manage key tools and processes to support Supervision, including reporting, attestation, and governance.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to identify and escalate key areas of operational and conduct risk.
  • Conduct thematic reviews and make recommendations to address key risks and control weaknesses.
  • Represent Global Markets in discussions regarding the risk profile and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in risk management or a related field, with experience in audit issue remediation and navigation of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment process.
  • Ability to leverage networks to drive business and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
