Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team at Anderson Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and yard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking and managing the receipt and dispatch of soil and rock samples
  • Organizing storage and sample picking, as well as the disposal of samples
  • Ensuring the correct forwarding of samples to laboratories
  • Operating a forklift for loading and unloading, and moving pallets as required
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
  • Assisting with stock checks and inventory management

Requirements:

  • Forklift license is essential
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good working level of computer literacy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm

Salary: £12 per hour
