Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability of our manufacturing plant's performance, working closely with the Lead Engineer to oversee smooth operations of production equipment and site facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with the Lead Engineer to ensure seamless operations of production equipment and site facilities.
  2. Monitor and complete daily planned maintenance, maintenance and compliance checks, and respond to electrical or mechanical breakdowns.
  3. Develop preventative maintenance schedules, monitor stock and spare parts, and complete departmental SOPs and risk assessments.

  4. Implement and maintain good manufacturing principles and continuous improvement systems.

Requirements:
  1. A Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
  2. Experience using Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy.
  3. An electrical bias to Level 3.
  4. IPAF qualification is advantageous but not required.
