**Supply Allies** is seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to work with sixth-form pupils aged 16-18, supporting those on the autistic spectrum.

The Role
  • Deliver individualised and innovative lessons to support the academic, social, and life skills development of sixth-form pupils.
  • Plan and adapt curriculum content to meet the unique needs and aspirations of pupils on the autistic spectrum.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues at the school and Solihull College to ensure a consistent and seamless learning experience.
  • Foster independence, preparing students for adulthood, employment, or further education.
  • Build strong partnerships with families, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support for each pupil.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience working in SEN settings.
  • Proven experience teaching pupils on the autistic spectrum, particularly those aged 16-18.
  • Knowledge of autism-specific teaching strategies and approaches, including sensory and communication support.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with external partners.
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young people with diverse needs.
