As a Senior Consultant in our UK Infrastructure business, you'll work within our specialist Cost Assurance team to review and scrutinise actual incurred costs and drive supply chain improvement and efficiency for major programmes and projects.

  • Contribute to the development of our service line by participating in bids and business generation.
  • Lead the ongoing refinement of internal training and product management for the service line.
Job Objectives:

Review construction contractor systems, controls and processes to provide a view on their ways of working, using industry intelligence to inform best practice.

  • Analysis and understanding of complex construction contracts, including NEC3/4 and ICE Bespoke.
  • Perform data testing using smart techniques and tools, such as data visualisation and trend/pattern analysis with PowerBi/Tableau.
  • Foster good quality working relationships with clients and those being reviewed, built on trust and professionalism.
  • Engage with the supply chain to promote assurance and encourage collaboration at project/programme level.
Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Assurance or audit experience in a construction, commercial or accountancy setting.
  • Contract Management skills - NEC3/4 (Option C, E) preferred.
  • Data analysis ability - reviewing and drawing insights from large data quantities in various formats, with PowerBi/Tableau experience preferred.
  • Report writing - communicating complex messages succinctly to maximise impact in written formats.
  • Professional scepticism - challenging in a professional and constructive way to safeguard service completion, maintaining independence and integrity, ensuring consistent quality.
