Teaching Fellow in Biostatistics and Epidemiology

The MRC Biostatistics Unit is one of Europe's leading biostatistics research institutions. We are recruiting a Teaching Fellow to support the delivery of courses covering epidemiology, biostatistics, and infectious diseases for the Masters of Philosophy in Population Health Sciences (MPhil in PHS). The successful candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics or epidemiology and experience in teaching and mentoring students. This is a full-time position available for 2 years from commencement.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Fellow, your primary responsibility will be to support the delivery of high-quality postgraduate education in population health sciences. You will work closely with experienced academics to design and deliver engaging, challenging, and effective teaching materials. Your expertise in programming in R/R Studio will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of courses in epidemiology, biostatistics, and infectious diseases
- Develop and deliver engaging, challenging, and effective teaching materials
- Work closely with experienced academics to support student learning
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in biostatistics and epidemiology
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
